Classic Coachworks needed help with their outdated on-premises server. The company relied heavily on their server for storing critical business data, managing projects, and ensuring seamless communication among team members. However, the limitations of the on-premises server were becoming increasingly evident.
Limited Storage Capacity: As the company expanded, the server’s storage capacity was unable to keep pace with the increasing volume of data.
Accessibility Issues: Employees faced difficulties accessing data remotely, which hindered productivity and collaboration.
Security Concerns: The on-premises server lacked advanced cybersecurity measures, making it vulnerable to potential threats.
Backup Challenges: Ensuring regular and reliable backups was a constant concern.
Reliable Computers migrated all data from Classic Coach Works on-premises server to Microsoft 365 with minimal disruption, providing staff training to ensure a smooth transition. SharePoint was implemented to streamline collaboration and document management through custom libraries, structured folders, and version control features for data integrity.
To strengthen security, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and ongoing security monitoring were put in place. A robust Microsoft 365 backup solution was also configured, with scheduled backups to protect critical data and enable fast recovery in the event of loss.
